Anna Lou. Buterbaugh, 80, of Wadsworth, died Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Akron City Hospital, Akron, Ohio. Anna was born April 16, 1929, in Rural Valley, Pennsylvania, to Clair and Mae Virginia (Mauck) Humble. Anna married Oscar R. Buterbaugh on June 30, 1946.





She was head cook for Rustic Hills Country Club for over 20 years. She loved playing cards in Wadsworth Area card clubs. She also enjoyed Bingo.





Anna will be deeply missed by her children, Phillis Batcho of South Carolina, Shirley (Will) Barton of Garrettsville, Oscar Roy (Sandy) Buterbaugh, Jr. of Wadsworth, Sherry (Marcus) Böckl of Rottenburg, Germany, Troy (Leslie) Buterbaugh of Carrollton, Georgia, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, brothers Frank (Maryland) Humble of Wadsworth, Ray (Donna) Humble of Cleveland, sisters Mae Birkbeck of Wadsworth and Marie (Harry) Jones of Cleveland, and special friends, Diane and Gary Smith, Al and Mary Abramoska. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, in September of 2000, 2 grandchildern and 3 brothers.





Graveside services will be Wednesday June 3, 2009, 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Wadsworth with paster Webb of victory Chaple officiatinc.Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel assisted the family with arrangements On line tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
