Billy B. Higgs, 70, of Wooster, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Akron City Hospital.Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services.Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is handling the arrangements.

Billy was born on March 23, 1939 in Bremen, Kentucky to Elbert and Lorene (Howell) Higgs.
He worked for Frito-Lay and Whitaker Myers of Orrville. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Billy will be deeply missed by his children Lance (Judy) Higgs and Tonya (Jeff) Harris all of Wooster, 4 grandchildren, Erika, Jessika and Emalee Higgs, Hannah Harris; a brother Roy (Ellie)Higgs of Wooster and sisters Wilma Williamson and Corene Johnson both of Wooster, sister-in-law Eileen Higgs of Big Prairie, brother-in-law Robert Duncan of Wooster, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Raymond L. Higgs and a sister Millie Duncan.
