David C. Berry, 71, of Wooster, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at Aultman Hospital in Canton. ?Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, with Pastor Arnie Kaufman officiating. ?Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park. ?Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?Memorial contributions may be made to Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. He was born November 14, 1935, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to Kenneth E. Berry and D. Catherine (Parker) Berry Stephens. ?His mother survives in Wooster.
David attended Burbank schools. ?He was a farmer for more than 30 years and was in the flea market business for 20 years. ?He enjoyed fishing, riding horses, wrestling, Cleveland Browns football, Cincinnati Reds baseball, and attending flea markets.
In addition to his mother, other survivors include daughter Anita (David) Gordon of Columbia City, Ind.; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; brother Richard (Clova) Berry of Kansas; sisters Phyllis Shane of Wooster, Barbara (Darrell) Marical of Oklahoma, and Connie (Chuck) Kintz of Bucyrus; and several nieces and nephews.
His father, stepfather Paul Stephens, and a nephew died previously.
