David C. Felter, 59, of Orrville, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at his residence. ?Services will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel with Rev. Kevin Phipps officiating. ?Burial will be at Congress Cemetery where military rites will be held. ?Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born February 6, 1947 in Dearborn, MI to Robert and Martha (Dixon) Felter.
He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. ?He worked at Regal Ware for 21 years and currently owned D & J Cleaning Service. ?He enjoyed Indians baseball, cars, his family, and was a very devoted father and grandfather.
Surviving is a daughter Shannon Felter of Orrville and a granddaughter Amanda Smith.
His parents, a brother Dennis, and a son Matthew died previously.
