Donald E. Kreider Sr., 86, of Wooster, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Smithville Western Care Center, in Wooster.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, where military rites will be held. Rev. Matthew Wald officiating.Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Wadsworth. Donald was born October 2, 1925 in Wadsworth to Nathan and Vesta {Peet} Kreider.
He served in the Army in WWII for two years.
He married Anna Feight on September 7, 1946.
He worked for Medina County where he retired after 20 years. He was a member of the Church of the Cross for 10 years. Donald enjoyed the time he worked with his son, Tom, at Brokenlock Longrifle Gun Club.
Donald will be deeply missed by his children Thomas (Joyce) Kreider of Creston, Timothy Kreider of Co., Donald (Martha) Kreider Jr. Lancaster, Susan (John) Crow of Brunswick; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by Anna Kreider, and his brother Robert Kreider.
