Doris Furman

Doris May Furman, 76, of Barberton went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 23, 1934 in Wadsworth to Clark and Minnie (Shaffer) Ady. Doris married Wilbur Furman on December 12, 1949. She was a homemaker an Akron Eagles member and enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren.



Doris will be deeply missed by her husband of 61 years, Wilbur, children Dennis (Patty) Furman of Barberton, Robert (Kathy) Furman of Wadsworth, Mary Ann (Jimmy) Ripley of Akron, Gary (Veronica) Furman of Barberton, Sharon Furman (Dave Harvey) of Barberton, Sandra Furman of Barberton, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and brother Daniel (Connie) Ady of Barberton. Her daughter Karen Furman, son Billy Furman, brothers Roy and Robert Ady and sister Mary Ady Mangrove, preceded her in death.



Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville, with Pastor Aaron Furman officiating. Friends may call Friday from 12-1 pm at the funeral home.
