Doris was born October 4, 1926 in Jeromesville to Samuel and Forrest (Frankie) Spring.
She was a seamstress for the U.S. Marine Corp, she worked at Westinghouse and she retired from the Budd Company.She was a member of the Ashland Amvets, she enjoyed working in the yard, sewing, crocheting, feeding the birds, and she loved all animals.
Doris will be deeply missed by her children; Michael (Barbara) Shoemaker of Ashland and Debbie (Charles) King of Tennessee; and also by her 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her son Melvin, three brothers and two sisters.
There will be no calling hours or services, per her request.Roberts Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
