Dorothy Eileen Shultz, 94, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord, January 9, 2011, at Samaritan Hospital, in Ashland. She was born July 7, 1916, in Loudonville, to Frank and Edna {nee McSchooler} Kirkbride. She married George Shultz on May 1, 1935.He died June 21, 1999.
Dorothy and George operated Shultz Coffee Service from 1972 to 1990. She was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Ashland. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family. She was from the generation that made all of her meals from scratch. She made "the best apple pie."
Dorothy will be deeply missed by her two daughters; Patricia (Dwayne) Trottman of Zephyrhills, FL, Georgia (Forest) Muir of Wooster; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, her brother Earl, sisters; Iva, Frances, and Mary, and her son-in-law Charles E. Miller preceded her in death.
A private burial has taken place at Ashland County Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online tributes may be made at w
