Edward "Ed" William Casey, 80, of Ashland, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at his home in Ashland.
Ed was born November 26, 1928 in Buffalo, NY, the son of Edward and Jeannette (Stevens) Casey. On May 26, 1948 he married Ruth Mariah Joscelyne. She preceded him in death in 2004.
He attended the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland, was a member of the Eagles and was a professional truck driver.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter Cheryl Casey of Ashland and sons, Dwayne (Mary) and Edward (Amy) Casey both of Buffalo, NY and William (Susan) Casey of Columbus; along with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, a daughter Deborah preceded him in death.
Friends may call Thursday from 1-2 pm at the Roberts Funeral Home - Ashland Chapel, 1058 US 250 North, Ashland. Services will be at the funeral home at 2pm. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
