Edward Nalepa

Edward Michael Nalepa, 76, of Burbank, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at Medina General Hospital. He was born September 27, 1935 in Youngwood, Pa. To Peter, Sr. and Anna (Uhrineuk) Nalepa. Ed married Betty Markle on September 29, 1962. He served in the U.S. Army and had retired from Tru-Fit after 25 years. He had been employed at the Sears’s Paint and Hardware and Millers Brothers Grocery. Ed was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, coached Pee Wee Football, baseball, girls softball and assisted with the kid’s workshop for Sears. He enjoyed baking, cooking, woodworking and his grandchildren.



Ed will be deeply missed by his wife, Betty, children Edward, Jr. (Judy) of Lodi, Sonia (Tim) O’Dell of Wadsworth, grandchildren Jon, Josh, Gary, Aaron, Jon, Mike, Chaz, great-grandchild Casey, brother Peter Jr.(Myrna) of Greenburg, Pa, Sister-in-law Carol Nalepa of Corning, NY, sisters Bernie (Pat) Santucci of Dayton, Oh, Pat (Ed) Dulgos of Youngwood, Pa and numerous nieces and nephews. His mother, father and brother Phillip preceded Ed in death.



Funeral services will be Friday, February 3 at 11:00 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 44 Britton Road, West Salem, OH, 44287 with Rev. Father Uhler officiating . Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Seville.
