Eugene Turner 85 of Wellington, formerly of Ashland passed away at his home, following a lengthy illness on, Saturday September 6, 2014.
Eugene was born April 10, 1929 to the Ezra and Nettie (Cogar) Turner. Eugene was an army veteran and retired from General Motors, Elyria in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty Jo, (Edwards); daughter Regina (Chris) Seabold and son Mark both of Wellington; Grandchildren, Joscelyn (Shannon) Latro of Elk River, MN, Becky (Keith) Baker of Milan, OH, and Timothy (Kortney) of Wellington. Great-grandchildren, Kain, Kennedy, Wes, Lilly, Molly, Carter, Aubry; brother Leamon; sisters Wanda, Ethel, and Edith.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Stephen, great granddaughter Addy Tatro, brothers Pymer and Willard and his sisters Lillian and Goldie.
Memorial lunch will be held at Penfield Community Church State Rt 18 in Penfield OH on Tuesday September 9, at 11:00 am. Another memorial luncheon will be held at Sand Fork Baptist Church at 11:00 am on Thursday September 11.
