Florence L. Swartz, 92, of Wooster, died Thursday January 3, 2013 at Akron City Hospital.
Friends may call Monday from 3 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Monday at 4 at the funeral home with Pastor Shawn Hilliard officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Chippewa Church of the Brethren 10230 North Honeytown Rd Creston, 44217.
Florence was born December 10, 1920 in Shreve to George and Sarah {Meyers} Shriver.
She married Blake Swartz on January 19, 1947.
She worked at the College of Wooster as a housekeeper. She was a member of the Chippewa Church of the Brethren. Florence loved taking care of her husband.
Florence will be deeply missed by her husband; children Richard L. Swartz, Nancy E. (Jerry) Hartman; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Paul (Donna) Shriver; sister-in-law Millie Shriver
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, brothers George, Forest, Harry (Carl), sisters Edna, Inez.
