Frances L. Vandermark, 74, of Norton, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, at Altercare of Wadsworth.
She was born July 17, 1932, in Logansport, IN, to William and Blossom (Study) Truax. ?Frances married Jonas Vandermark on February 15, 1965. ?She was a homemaker, was of the Baptist faith, and enjoyed painting, playing the organ, traveling, and reading her cookbooks. ?
Frances will be deeply missed by her husband Jonas; daughter Sherry Hickling of Wadsworth; son James (Melanie) Doran of Denver, IN; grandchildren Charles Hickling, John, Jonas Tyler, Dylan, Abshire, Aaron, Jonas Paulo, Tashina, Yanel, Guanea, and Nemiah Doran, Levi and Logan Riggle; many great-grandchildren; brother Larry Truax of Peru, IN; sisters Alma Enser of Wabash, IN, and Bonnie Woodhouse of Xenia, OH; and many nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; son Mark Doran; granddaughter Carrie Doran; brothers Duyane, Clayton, Norman, and Bill Truax; and sister Anita Wentz.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Wadsworth, with Rev. Steven Carter officiating. ?Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. ?Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. ?Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com. ?In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
