George “Buck” Lyons, 71, of Wooster, died Sunday April 15 at Glendora Health Care Center, in Wooster.
Friends may call Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 3:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Ledford officiating.
Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.

Buck was born June 11, 1940, in Lake Lynn, PA to Bernard and Frances {Showe} Lyons.
Buck served in the US Army. He worked as a security guard for Telecom ATT. He attended the Orrville Christian Church, and enjoyed building model airplanes.
Buck will be deeply missed by his daughter Lorrie Lyons of Landsdale, PA. grandson Lucas Hefferon, sister Dot Roush, brother-in-law Charles Roush, nephews Mark (Celeste) Wildey and Steven (Tiff) Roush and their children Kayla and Zane, and niece Michele (Mike) Bishop and their children Cory, Kyle, and Chelsie.
Buck was preceded in death by his parents.
