Helen L. Schamp, 79, of Wooster died May 21, 2007 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Helen was born December 5, 1927 in Chatham, Ohio to Jay and Donna (Wright) Broadsword. ?She graduated from Chatham High School. ?She married Ralph Schamp on December 5, 1946.
She worked for GTE for 24 years retiring in 1982. ?She enjoyed reading, gardening, making baskets, cooking and tole painting.
Helen will be deeply missed by her husband, daughters Cathy Hodkinson of New Philadelphia, Claudia (Jim) Love of Medina, grandchildren Matthew Hodkinson and Lori (Dustin) Correll, great-granddaughter Taylor Correll and a brother Donald Broadsword of Litchfield and a sister Jean Schworer of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her father and sister Betty Browand.
