Irene Ann Walthour, 74, of Wadsworth, died Friday, October 9, 2009, at Hospice Care Center in Akron.
Friends may call Monday from 6pm – 8pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Wadsworth. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Decker officiating.

Irene was born June 26, 1935 in Barberton to Louis John and Ethel Elizabeth (Popp) Harka. She married Frank P. Walthour Jr. on November 26, 1963. He preceded her on October 28, 2000.
Irene worked in the Cafeteria at Wadsworth City Schools. She was a member of the Ambassador Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by children Donald Butzer of Wadsworth, Vicki (David) Long of Winter Park, Fl., Frank P (Carmen) Walthour III; stepsons Jack (Angel) Walthour of Kokomo, In. and Scott (Roberta) Walthour of Ottawa, Ohio; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother Joe Moine of Doylestown; sisters Ethel Kearns of Akron and Hilda (Bob) King of Wadsworth.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
