James Howard Stephens, 70, of Marietta, died Thursday, March 5th, 2015 at his home.
James was born December 22, 1944 in Marietta to Howard and Opal {Dovenbarger} Stephens. He graduated from Waterford High School. James was a veteran of the United States Army.
He married Sue Anderson on November 26, 1965.
James worked as the Storeroom Administrator for the Ohio River Plant of AEP. He was an active member of the Fort Harmar Rifle Club, a Life Member of the NRA, and an NRA Concealed Carry instructor.
James will be deeply missed by his wife Sue, daughter Tanya (Clay) Robinson of Savoy, IL; grandchildren Corinna, Matthew, Carmen, Harry and Wren Robinson; brothers Glen (Barbara) Stephens of Waterford, OH and Ronald (Deb) Stephens of Greenwood, IN.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
