Jean Mitchell

Janetta “Jean” Foster Mitchell, 90, of Wadsworth died Saturday, April 11 at Summa Wadsworth-Rittman. She was born September 21, 1918 in Staunton, VA. to James and Julia (Baker) Foster. Jean graduated Mary Baldwin College and University School of Nursing and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Barberton. She was a former Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital Auxiliary member and enjoyed Bridge, reading and cooking.

Private family services will be conducted at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. Reford Nash. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Jean is survived by her daughter-in-law Tami Mitchell of Akron. She was preceded by her husband G. W. “Bill” Mitchell, Sr. and son G.W. “Mike” Mitchell, Jr.
