Jeanne Babcock, 89, of Shady Lawn Retirement Center, Dalton, died Sunday January 13, 2013 at Wooster Community Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Wooster.

Jeanne was born July 31, 1923 in Massillon to Clyde and Gertrude {Schwartz} Longworth.
She married Robert R. Hodge in 1942. Following their divorce she later married Gerald "Babby" Babcock in 1976.
She worked for Cofsco as a secretary/bookkeeper until she retired. Her hobbies were her pets, reading and cooking.
Jeanne will be deeply missed by her children Gary R. (Wilma) Hodge of Findlay, Peggy (John) Ingalls of North Canton; step-children Gary (Penny) Babcock of Newark, Judy (Stan) Edwards of Logan, Greg (Mindi) Babcock of Frazeysburg, special friends Mike (Jackie) Smith, Jeff Smith, Jill (Sonny) Carmichael.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, and brothers Donald and Gordon Longworth.
