Joann Edwards, 61, of Shreve, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Akron City Hospital.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8pm at the Roberts Funeral Home – Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will be Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Ronnie Kendrick officiating.Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Joann was born December 18, 1947 in Pike County, KY to Lawrence and Nancy {Ball} Edwards.
She worked at Magic Mart for 18 years in Kentucky, then for Wal-Mart in Wooster for 15 years.
She loved bowling and working puzzles.She also enjoyed working outside in the garden and her flower beds.But most of all, she loved her family and her granddaughters Sheena and Shawna May.
Joann will be deeply missed by her daughter Leeann (Robert) Tittle of Shreve; granddaughters Shawna Kay May and Sheena Denna May of Shreve; 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren; sisters Linda Sue (Atlee) Saurer, Vivian (Dorsey) Rowe, Barbara (Wayne) Raber, Verna (Ballard) Williamson; brothers Buddy (Connie) Edwards, William (Pat) Edwards, Larry (Cathy) Edwards, Jon (Linda Sue) Edwards; nieces and nephews.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents, grandson James Christopher Keith May, and a sister Carol Shallenberger.
