John M. Cahill, 75, of West Salem, died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Hospice of Visiting Nurse in Copley.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville.Services will be Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Sam Ray officiating.Burial will be at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, where military rites will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice in John’s name

John was born July 20, 1936 in Springfield, MA to Michael and Bridget {Sullivan} Cahill.He was a torpedo man in the Korean War.
He married Bonnie Couch in 1958.She survives.
John worked for the US Postal Service for 37 years.He was a member of the Crooked River Sams RV Club, Chapter 51.
John will be deeply missed by his wife Bonnie; children Dennis and Michael Cahill; grandchildren Dawn and Shelby Cahill; sisters Maureen Borski and Peg Curtis.
John was preceded in death by his daughter Theresa Cahill.
