Jonathan Habig

Jonathan Duaine Habig, 53, of Rittman, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at his home in Rittman. He was born August 30, 1955 in Wadsworth to Bernard James and Martha Lawayne (Hawkins) Habig. He was a veteran of the US Navy and had been a self employed dry waller. Jon was an employee of Wooster College in the paint shop and a member of Medina Community Church, serving as a deacon for five years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and gardening.

Jon will be deeply missed by his mother and father, and brothers James and Dave Habig of Rittman. His sister Helen Emily Habig preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 4 at 11:00 at Medina Community Church, 416 South Broadway, Medina, with Pastor Doug Davidson officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the church. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
