Leo (Bootsy) Francis Jr, 77, of Ashland, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at North Central Hospice House in Ashland.
Leo was born July 27, 1931 in New London to Leo and Maude Martin Francis. Leo served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Leo married Doris Daugherty, who passed in 1994. He enjoyed CB Radio and watching TV. Leo worked in the concrete business as a finisher and also in the Scrap Metal business. He belonged to the Polk Amvets.
Leo will be deeply missed by his son Robert (Buck) Francis of Astoria Oregon, one grandson and special friend and caregiver Thomas (Whitey) White Jr.
Nine brothers and sisters preceded Leo in death.
A private family service will be held in Nankin Cemetery
