Lewis Peterson

Lewis “Pete” Peterson, 91 of Ashland, passed away Monday January 25, 2010 at Lutheran Village in Ashland. Lewis was born July 21, 1918 in Lindbergh, Kansas, to A. Wolford and Edith C Helander Peterson. Lewis married Vivian M. Neff on January 23, 1943. Lewis was employed by Chas Hoffman Co. in Mansfield, he was a member of the Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union Local 42, Lewis retired on June 21, 1980. Lewis was in the United States Navy, during WWII in the Pacific Theater.



His mother and Father preceded Lewis in death. Lewis will be deeply missed by his wife Vivian and children, William (Dorothy) Peterson of New Vienna Linda Kamp of Ashland and Carol (Dean) Mahaffey of Creston North Carolina, and his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren



There will be a Private family service at Roberts Funeral Home – Ashland Chapel, Ashland, with, Rev. Jeff Messner officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com .
