Linda Gibson

Linda J. "Hoot" Gibson left us unexpectedly following a sudden illness on Sunday, January 6, 2008. She was born June 21, 1947 in Laredo, Texas to Romulo and Petra Alejandro and had lived in Rittman for most of her life. She was employed at The JM Smucker Company in Orrville for over 30 years. Linda enjoyed her grandchildren, shopping at the dollar stores, her beautiful flower gardens and her 2 dogs.



Surviving are her husband Jeff L. Gibson, children Lisa (Joe) Garrett of Akron, Brian (Robin Dunkle) Watkins of Wadsworth, Jeff Jr. (Michelle) Gibson of Wadsworth and Jennifer S. Gibson of Virginia, four grandchildren, Christopher and Alex Lambert, Katie Winkler and Natalie Gibson, two siblings, a sister Corina (Jim) Howard of Orrville and brother Rudy (Trina) Alejandro of Tennessee, along with many other family members and friends.



Funeral services will be Thursday, January 10, at 11:00 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Wadsworth. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday from 1-3 and from 6-8 at the funeral home.
