Mary M. Hartman, 78, of Wadsworth, died Friday, November 14 at Autumnwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Rittman. She was born November 23, 1929 in Logan, WV to Jess H. and Alma M. (Stiltner) McComas. Mary married Lawrence “Larry” Hartman on February 25, 1965 and he preceded her in death March 17, 1994. She retired from Autumnwood Nursing and Rehab Center in 1995 and enjoyed camping and fishing. She loved puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mary will be deeply missed by her son Danny (Amy) Terry of Wadsworth, daughters Betty (Douglas) Justice of Phyllis, KY, Janice Morrison of Rittman, Peggy Kenaga of Fremont, Lisa Hartman of Wadsworth, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, special friends Carol Adams and Dorothy Andrews. She was preceded in addition to her husband Lawrence, by son Noah Dingess, son-in-law Christopher Kenaga, grandson Terry, brothers Wilmer, Clyde and Lee McComas, and sisters Ruby Thompson and Mable Osburn.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel with Rev. Samuel Morgan officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
