Pauline Atterholt-Farnsworth

Pauline Atterholt-Farnsworth, 85, of Ashland, passed into eternity on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Hospice
of North Central Ohio.
She was born July 14, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Edwin F. and Ruth M. (Kuehn) Petzke.
She married Clayton L Atterholt in Sullivan, OH in 1949. He preceded her in death in 1993. She married
Carter Farnsworth in Ashland, OH in 2000 and he preceded her in death in 2005. Pauline worked all
her life both inside and outside of the home. She enjoyed cooking big meals for her family and friends.
She also enjoyed gardening. In her later years, she volunteered her time at libraries and hospitals. She
believed serving others was more important than serving herself.
Pauline will be deeply missed by her sons, Tom (Veronica) Atterholt of Remington, VA, Mark (Diane)
Atterholt of Urbana, OH, Brian (Janice) Atterholt and Scott (Debbie) Atterholt, both of DeGraff; OH,
thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and Brenda Hershey of West Salem, OH who provided
care to her as she battled the disease of Alzheimer's.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruthie Mulica of Amherst, OH and her brother, Edwin Petzke of
North Carolina.
A memorial gathering will be conducted at the Mohicanville Community Church, Mohicanville, OH on
Saturday, August 11 at 2:00 PM with her son officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to
