Ricky Alonzo Barnes, 58, of Nashville, died Tuesday June 19, 2012 at his residence.
Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Angel Jackson officiating. Rick was born August 30, 1953 in Wooster to Howard H. and Jennie Alberta {Steele} Barnes.
He graduated from Northwestern High School in 1971
He married Donna Graham on November 11, 1978.
Rick worked at Wayne County Engineer Department for 15 years. Rick's hobbies and passions were riding his motorcycle, mopar muscle cars, and watching Nascar races. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his dogs and family.
Rick will be deeply missed by his wife; children Amy M. Barnes (Aaron Spreng) of Lakeville, Ohio and Joshua W. (Ashley A.) Barnes of Lakeville; grandchildren Caleb, Brenna, Jacie, and Emmorie; mother Jennie Alberta Barnes of Wooster; brothers Howard "Howie" Barnes of Wooster, Jerry (Sandy) Barnes of Lodi, Jack (Connie) Barnes of Burbank, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Howard H Barnes and his grandmother Mary Catherine Steele.
