Roger Allen Martin, 57, of Wooster, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009, at his home.
Born January 16, 1952, in Wooster, Ohio, Roger was a lifetime resident where his ornery spirit was well known by his many friends and relatives, who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gladys J. (Daugherty) Martin and sister Barbara L. Kreider both of Wooster.
He is survived by his father, Arthur T. Martin, Sr. sister Rita G. Miller, daughter Theresa Grace, son Mathew Martin, and his former wife Penny Martin, all of Wooster; brother Arthur T. Martin, Jr. of Dublin, OH;
He is also survived by two grandsons, two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters, and one great-grandson.
He worked for many years as an accomplished finish carpenter, mason, and equipment operator. He was very fond of fishing, hunting and motorcycles and he loved his dog Max.
A private family memorial service was held at 11:00 AM, on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Roberts Funeral Home, Rt. 3, north of Wooster.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
