Ruth Bryant, 76, of Wooster, died Wednesday August 12, 2015 at LifeCare Hospice.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. A private family service will be held at a later date with Pastor John Heavlin officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice 1900 Akron Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691.
Ruth was born May 24, 1939 in Wooster, Ohio to Andrew L. and Lovina M. {Miller} Miller.
She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1957.
She married Lee Bryant on March 31, 1967.
She worked for Lightning Rod Insurance and Mennonite Mutual as an underwriter for 30 years. Ruth was a member of New Pittsburgh Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Ruth will be deeply missed by her husband; children Terri Broadbridge of Creston, Deb (Kenny) Dewiel of Ashland, Sherri (Lonnie) Smith of Wooster, Sandy Over of Wooster, Mike (Charlotte) Slarb of Wooster, LeighAnn (Chuck) Ritchey of Ashland; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Bill (Pat) Miller of Wooster, Charles (Paula) Miller of Wooster; sister Mary Lou Karshner of FL.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Robert Slarb, parents, brothers Thomas and Robert Miller, daughter Missy Shaw, granddaughter Samantha Franks.
