Shirley Yvonne Shipe, 68, of Wadsworth, died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at home. Services will be Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel in Seville at 11:00 AM with Rev. Robert Meyer officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Wednesday, January 4 from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina.
She was born November 28, 1937 in Doylestown, Ohio to Woodrow W. and Helen M. (Bee) Sigler. She married Wilbur Shipe on August 3, 1957. He survives. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren, flower gardening and fishing.
In addition to her husband Wilbur, she is survived by children Andrew and Pamela Shipe of Barberton, Timothy and Terri Shipe of West Salem, Jenny and Ron Becker of Smithville, grandchildren Jason and Crystal Shipe, Matthew Shipe, Janie Shipe, Anthony Shipe, Heather Shipe, Frank Becker, Thomas Becker, sisters Mary Fry of Doylestown, Patricia and Jerry Shipe of Wadsworth, and special friend Lisa Weinman. Her parents preceded her in death.
