Sylvia Kountz, 93, of Wooster, formerly of Apple Creek, died Tuesday December 25, 2012 at West View Manor in Wooster.
Services will be Friday at 10 am at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Ron Williams officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Sylvia was born July 9, 1919 in Dalton, Ohio to Leroy and Hazel {Bankman} Forrer.
She married Walter Kountz on November 9, 1941. He died September 14, 2007; they were married 65 years.
Sylvia was a bookkeeper for her husband's business and was a member of the Dove Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed sewing, bird watching, and watching religious programs on TV.
Sylvia is survived by a sister Goldie Wadian of Massillon, Ohio, nephews Larry (Barb) Forrer of Dalton and Brian Wadian of Louisville; and good friend Dana Parry of Wooster.
Syvlia was preceded in death by her husband Walter, a brother, and a nephew Keith Forrer.
