Thelma Huegle, 79, of Marshallville, died Sunday, May 6, 2007. Celebration of Life services will be Wednesday at 2:00pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster with Pastor Kevin Phipps officiating. ??Friends may call Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Thelma was born July 30, 1927 in Creston to Elvery and Maude (Copley) Crabtree.
She attended Creston schools. ?She married Alvin A. Huegle on October 23, 1946. ?He preceded her in death in 1998.
Thelma had worked for Crown Steel and Petit's Poultry of Doylestown.
She enjoyed her family and pets, watching sports on TV, embroidering and her rose garden.
Thelma will be deeply missed by daughters Carrie (Larry) Slaughter of Doylestown and Vivian (Steve) Wisecarver of Duncan Falls, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, a brother Jim (Lorraine) Crabtree of Massachusetts and sisters Kate Curry and Dorothy Craig both of Rittman.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Amanda Lee Huegle, brothers Richard, Donald and Norvel Crabtree and sisters Ann, Amanda, Velma, Ruth and Ruby
