Theresa Sonnet

Theresa Marie Sonnet, 81, of Wooster, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at her residence in Wooster.Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.Memorial services will be Friday at 12 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Steve Moran officiating.Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Theresa was born November 10, 1926, in Pittsburgh, PA to George Paul and Mary Agnes (Sox) Tomcik.She married Martin Leonard on April 12, 1947. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She loved all things, but mostly enjoyed cooking, crafts and spending time with her family.She had been actively involved in her church and community in Pennsylvania.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Martin; her children, Marie Sonnet of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Davis of Wooster, Judy Sonnet of Wooster, Andrew Sonnet of Los Angeles, CA and Matthew (Mary) Sonnet of Stroudsburg, PA.; grandchildren, Jane, Anna, Martin, Mark, Laura, Luke, Scott, Julie and Heidi; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ryan, Justin, Mariah, Sean and Jaxson and brother David Tomcik of Pittsburgh, PA.

Theresa was preceded in death by a son Mark Daniel Sonnet, her parents, her brother George and sister Jean.
