??Thurman Keith, 74, of Sullivan, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.

Born May 26, 1931, in Wayne County, Kentucky, he was the son of Travis and Bertha Mae Flynn Keith.

Mr. Keith served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany. He was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 30 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 425.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and attended New Life Community Church. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He was married March 23, 1954, to Darlene Patterson, who survives. Also surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kenneth Wayne and Sandra Keith of Kentucky, Eddie Lee Keith of Lorain and Danny Thurman and Bobbi Jo Keith of Wakeman; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sheila Lowry of Sullivan, Diane and William Heater of Berlin Heights and Darla Jean and Kenneth Lester of Tennessee.

Also surviving are 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lowell Keith of Indiana and Arnold and Leland Keith, both of Kentucky; and one sister, Marie Rogers of Kentucky.

His parents; one grandson, Eddie Keith; one brother, Johnny Keith; and two sisters, Thelma Morrow and Desda Gray, preceded him in death.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2006, at New Life Community Church, 1489 Ohio 511, Ashland, with the Rev. Brenton Page officiating.

Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park, with military rites being conducted by the Ashland Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, at Roberts Funeral Home, 1058 US 250 North, Ashland.
