Warren Johnson, 91, of Marietta, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Heartland of Marietta.
He was born October 24, 1925 in Marietta to Dayton and Effie Johnson.
Warren was a Veteran of World War II serving in the United States Marine Corps in Iwo Jima.
He married Glendora Koon on December 31, 1951. Warren was a Chemical Operator for Union Carbide for 37 years. He was a member of the Harmar Hill Church of Christ. Warren was an avid sports fan, especially the Buckeyes
Warren will be deeply missed by his wife Glendora; son Jay (Jennifer) Johnson; grandchildren Luke, Emma and Lily Johnson; sister-in-law Irene Johnson and many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving sibling of 13 brothers and sisters
Warren was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
Friends may call Sunday, April 23rd from 5 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor J.D. Conley officiating. Entombment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park, where military rites will be held.
