A. Louise Hochstetler

A. Louise Hochstetler, 75, of Wooster, died Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare in Wooster.

Private services will be held at the Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, OH 44691.

Louise was born November 9, 1945, in Wooster to Vernon and Ardith {Geiser} Horst.  She graduated from Wooster High School in 1963.

She married Carl Hochstetler on April 17, 1965. He died May 12, 2019.

She worked in food service for many years, including the Green Leaf for 20 plus years where she was the breakfast cook, often preparing breakfast for the “regulars” as they walked in the door.  Louise enjoyed traveling the United States with Carl in his semi. She loved reading her Bible, reading it through many times.  Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye!

Louise will be deeply missed by her children Rita (Tim) Varner and Paula Rooker all of Wooster; grandchildren Nicholas Carl Rooker, Zella Elizabeth Rooker and Kodi Varner, and her aunt Mary Holderman.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Carl.
