Alvin K. Nichols

Alvin K. Nichols, 79, of Orrville, died February 9, 2024 at Aultman Orrville Hospital.

Alvin was born October 15, 1944 in Sissonville, WV to Luther and Gladys {Wheatcraft} Nichols.

He attended Ripley High School. 

He married Carolyn (Casto) in December of 1964. 

Alvin worked for the Morton Salt Co. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the Cleveland Browns.

Alvin will be deeply missed by his wife Carolyn of Orrville; son Rodney Nichols of Canton; daughter Kimberly (Jim) Ball of Smithville; grandchildren Cory Ball, Brittany (John) Poling, and Mandy (Alex) Daniels; great-grandchildren Wednesday, Cain, Kiele, Violet, and Jett.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Bruce, Shady, Carl, and Mark Nichols, and sister Catherine Smith.

Private funeral services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
