Andrew Denver Francis Jr.

Andrew Denver Francis Jr., 89, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026 at his home.

Andrew was born June 17, 1936 in Kingston, Ohio to Andrew and Madge Francis.

He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1955. Andrew was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He married Grace Daugherty on April 20, 1959. She preceded him in death in October of 2009.

Later, he married Helen Miller on February 14, 2015.

Andrew was an Extruder Operator for BF Goodrich/RJF for 41 years, retiring in 2003. Following retirement, he volunteered for Marietta Memorial for 15 years where he received his 10,000 hour certificate. Andrew was a founding member of the Marietta Church of Christ. He was a member of the Sons of the Union Veterans where he served as chaplain, among other duties. He enjoyed reading and traveling.

Andrew will be deeply missed by his wife Helen Francis; daughters Kim (Rick) Wellspring and Kris (David) Pressler; granddaughter Brittany Wellspring.

In addition to his parents, Andrew was preceded in death by his grandson Adam Wellspring and his brother Jake Francis.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Bob Feathers officiating.
