Audrey Jane Vollrath

Audrey “Jane” Vollrath, 83, of Wooster, died Monday, April 17, 2023 at Smithville Western Nursing Home.

Jane was born January 20, 1940 in Mingo Junction, Ohio to Helen McGrew.

She graduated from Nursing School in Grand Rapids, MN.

Jane worked for Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. She was raised Italian, enjoyed cooking, crocheting, sewing and taking care of people.

Jane will be deeply missed by her brother Tom (Janet) Schwieterman of Wooster and several nieces and nephews, especially Elizabeth Schwieterman.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family.  Memorial services will be held at the Church of the Savior with Pastor Durham officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

The family was blessed to have Smithville Western Nursing Home for their love and care they gave Jane. All the staff, including Sammy were a blessing to the family.
