August E. Brueckner, 84, of Gainesville, FL, died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital.
Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
August was born September 27, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri to August and Barbara {Murial} Brueckner.
He married Alice Josephine “Jo” McGlaughlin on March 17, 1951.
August was a supervisor for the FAA. He always had a dog by his side, and he loved to fish. He skied often and liked to ride his motorcycle.
He will be deeply missed by his children Ron Brueckner and Roger (Diane Brainard) Brueckner; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
August was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and two siblings.
