Barbara Dale Campbell, 86, of Medina, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her home with her family by her side.
Barbara was born March 26, 1940 in Durant, OK to James Basden and Cora Lee {Deaton} Smith.
She married the love of her life, George Campbell, on March 16, 1958. He went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2019.
Barbara was a homemaker and was a charter member of Triangle Baptist Church where she was involved in the Southern Baptist Women’s Association. She enjoyed art, particularly drawing and painting; working puzzles, playing board games especially 42 Dominos, and video games with her grandchildren. Barbara was an avid reader, doing Bible studies every day. She also liked shopping and traveling.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her children Dale (Karen) Campbell, Cheryl (Robert) Adamson, Dave (Marie) Campbell, Sharon (Bruce) Smith, Charlotte (Mike) Calavitta; grandchildren Candace, Amanda, Tabatha, Bobby, Michael, Thomas, Nicholas, Jennifer, Autumn, Joshua, George, Elizabeth; 34 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, son Daniel Campbell, great grandchildren Faith and Hunter Adamson, brothers L.D., J.B. Billy Joe, Murray, and David, sisters Lillian, Viola, Nancy, and Betty.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Barbara-Campbell) with Pastor Gerald Clevenger officiating.
