Barbara Jean Chambliss

Barbara Dodson Simmons Chambliss passed on March 18, 2025. She was born November 25, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to parents Frank (Pearl) and Roseanna Dodson. She attended Bishop Hartley High School and Holy Spirit for services. She was preceded in death by siblings Louie, John and Rita and is survived by Annie (Carnes), Robert and Frank. She married Larry Simmons and had 3 children, Chris (Hawkins), Dirk Simmons and Scot Simmons who passed in 2020. She later married Harold Chambliss who proceeded her in death. Barbara retired from Kenyon College Library. Barbara did not wish to have services. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St.Vincent de Paul church.
