Betty Jean Keith

Betty J. Keith, 83, of Rittman, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at LifeCare of Medina.

Betty was born March 27, 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia to Edward and Geroline {Turner} Cox.

She married Harless Keith on September 19, 1959; he passed away in 1999.

She worked at Permold Corp. in Medina for over 20 years. Betty was a member of Rittman Community Freewill Baptist Church. She loved sewing, reading, and making quilts. Betty cherished her grandchildren.

Betty will be deeply missed by her children Robin (Richard) Gibbs, Wanda Beck, Vanessa Smith, and Angela Keith; grandchildren Heather (Andrew) Blankenship, Harry (LeAnn) Nelson, A.J. (Veronica Berlovin) Smith, and Tori Smith; great-grandchildren Sabrina Nelson, Logan and Leon Miller; brothers Sonny Cox and Junior Carlisle; and sisters Ann Williamson, Doris Roelofs, and Jeanette Harp.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and daughter Barb Pitz.

Friends may call Wednesday, February 25 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville.
