Beverly Sue Caskey

Beverly Sue Caskey, 88, of Smithville, passed away Thursday, September 10th.

Beverly was born January 29th, 1938 in Millersburg, Ohio to Herman and Fern {Crawford} Edwards.

She was a graduate of Smithville High School

Beverly married Gerald Caskey on December 22nd, 1957.

Beverly worked as a self-employed milk hauler for 8 years and bookkeeper at Gerstenslager’s for 27 years. She attended the Wooster United Methodist Church. Beverly was an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society and the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and an avid fan of Wooster Scots basketball. Beverly loved to read, bowl, play cards with friends, boat and fish on Lake Erie and spend time with her family.

Beverly will be deeply missed by her children Ken (Joann) Caskey, Fritz (Margaret) Caskey and Karen (Dan) Caskey-Harris; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Martha Sturgis of Wooster.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gerald; her parents, Herman and Fern Edwards; and her brother Michael Edwards.

Friends may call Friday September 18 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
