Bonita "Bonnie" Lee Britton

Bonita “Bonnie” Lee Britton, 79, of Rittman, died Sunday, September 24, 2023 at her residence.

Bonnie was born April 28, 1944 in Connellsville, PA to James and Joan {Cane} Pritts.

She married Melvin Britton on November 18, 1980. He died April 14, 2016. 

Bonnie worked for Rittman city schools. She attended Liberty Freewill Baptist Church. Bonnie really enjoyed gardening, she was a really good cook and was well known for her chicken and homemade noodles.

Bonnie will be deeply missed by her children Marlene, Kathy, Debbie, Juanita, Jodie, Matt, Mark; step-children Belinda, Chris, Melvin Jr. and Tonnie; 24 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters Dolores; special friend's Brenda Elliot, Chris Daubenmire; daughter-in-law Cheryl Heater and Fur Baby Lena.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her Husband Melvin, Sons George and Jimmy and step-daughter Julie.

Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is assisting the family.  Memorial services will be Friday October 13, 2023, at 1:00 at the Liberty Freewill Baptist Church, 3819 Johnson Road Norton, Ohio 44203 with Pastor Cecil Farmer and Chad Booth officiating.
