Bridget Ury

Bridget Ann Ury, 77, of Wooster, died Saturday, May 27, 2023, at her home.

Bridget was born October 4, 1945, in Wooster, Ohio to Raymond and Toma Joye {Williamson} Hosfeld.

She married Herman J. Ury on February 14, 1990. He died on March 9, 2020. 

Bridget retired from Wooster Brush. She loved basket weaving and was a master basket weaver, and she owned Baskets R Forever. Bridget was a member of the Wayne County Arts & Crafts Guild.

Bridget will be deeply missed by her children Bradley (Carol) Smith of Columbus, Brent Smith of Big Prairie, Michelle (Jamie) Bowman of Wooster, Rachel Iannarelli of Wooster; grandchildren Christopher, Kaitlyn, Amber, Samus, Kelli, Raymond, and Addy; great-grandchildren Grayson, Landon and Emery; brothers Fred and Robert Hosfeld; sisters Delores Frank, Linda Tyler, Claudia Eberts, and Jacinta Larsen.

Bridget was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 30 years Herman.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. A private family graveside will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
