Caldeen Patton

Caldeen Patton, 90, of Ashland, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Brethren Care Village.

Caldeen was born March 13, 1936, in Ova, Kentucky to Ollie and Delia {Reed} Row.

Caldeen was a Medical Assistant graduating from Carnegie Institute. She worked at Greenwich Bank, where she was a Notary, and at Pepperidge Farm. Caldeen volunteered at Goodwill, Willard Hospital, and Delphi Church in New Haven. Caldeen attended Guinea Corner Church of God. She was an avid baker, and she loved to play basketball with her grandkids. Caldeen was a fantastic seamstress, she sewed many things for her children. She was a devout follower of Jesus. Caldeen was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and co-worker.

Caldeen will be deeply missed by her children Mark (Yolanda) Van Scoy, Bruce (Deena) Van Scoy, Michelle O’Brien, Brett (Dee) Van Scoy, Greg (Alysia) Van Scoy; grandchildren Vicente, Jared, Ashley, Bryan, Matthew, Mallory, Timothy, Sean, Amanda, Austin, Addison, Alex, and Zach; great-grandchildren Liam, Ethan, Madeleine, Lucas, Quinn, Moira, Elise, Avery, Davian, Rogan, Ripley, Darius, Haven, Ella, Deliliah, Lucas, and Hazel.

Caldeen was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Lucille, Randolph, Harold, Earl, Cleopus, Cloteen, Joe, and Zane.

Friends may visit Wednesday, August 26 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Caldeen-Patton) with Pastor Roger Conley officiating.
