Charlotte Eisenbrei

Charlotte Eisenbrei, 94, of Wooster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Charlotte was born on June 4, 1932, in San Diego, CA to Frank and Blanche (Hardgrove) Bates.

She graduated from Massillon Washington High School in 1950 and married Richard C. "Dick" Eisenbrei, and together they shared 72 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on March 14, 2025.

Charlotte was a homemaker, raising her three children. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Charlotte enjoyed golfing and travelling with Dick. She was an avid volunteer, donating her time to a variety of school activities for her children, Meals on Wheels, and the Massillon Museum.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia (Ralph) Reynolds of Beavercreek, Ohio, Carol (Courtney) Harlan of Seville, Ohio, and Richard (Andrea) Eisenbrei of Louisville, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Hilary (Brian) Grey, Lindsey (Brian) Dean, Benjamin Harlan, Jill (Jack) Nikolopoulos, Erin (Ben) Tarney, Malorie (Ben) Eisenbrei Rice, and Daria Eisenbrei; 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard C. "Dick" Eisenbrei; her grandson, Courtney Harlan Jr.; granddaughter-in-law Samantha Harlan.
