Cheryl Christine Plough

Cheryl Christine Plough (Bellman) of Orrville passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2026, at the age of 79 at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a period of declining health.

Cheryl was born on September 27, 1946, in Wooster Ohio to the late Virgil and Iota (McCune) Bellman.

Cheryl went to Smithville high school and worked at the J.M. Smucker Company where she retired in 2009 after working for over 40 years.

She was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and dirt track racing. She enjoyed bowling, BINGO and her favorite card game Euchre. She also enjoyed sitting in her chair watching the birds and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren when she could.

She will be deeply missed by all.

Surviving Cheryl are her son Curtis (Shelly) Plough of Pleasant Hill IA and daughters Brenda (Anthony) Powers of Orrville, Christine Plough of Canton, Rhonda Plough of Orrville as well as 12 grandchildren Alex, Ashley, Michaela, Chase, Dylan, Curtis, Angelique, Sean, Seth, Tori, Jalyn and Devonte and 10 great-grandchildren Greyson, Parker, Boden, Lathan, Amelia, Jakyra, Jakari, Marcel, Kai and Raelynn. Sister Phyllis Carter of Mt. Gilead and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Iota, brothers Charles “Sonny” Bellman, Carl E. Bellman, John F. Bellman, Larry D. Bellman, sisters Mary Mason, Myrna J. VanFossen and Lora Lee VanFossen and great-granddaughter Halo Gray.

Friends may call Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jeremiah Scadden officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
